Our Manual Wheelchair Insurance policy is designed protect your manual wheelchair in the event that it is stolen, damaged or involved in an accident.

Our Manual Wheelchair Insurance cover is designed to ensure that if your manual wheelchair is stolen, damaged or involved in an accident it will be promptly repaired or in certain circumstances, if less than two years old, replaced.
Backed by our prompt and professional service it also includes, as standard, up to £2m liability cover to protect you against any claims of negligence alleged to have caused damage or injury caused to a third party or their property.

I got my wheelchair through the NHS, is this covered?
Yes, our cover can offer protection for you and your NHS wheelchair.
Does this policy cover accidental damage to my wheelchair?
Yes, this policy covers the cost of repairs or a replacement product following accident.
Is my wheelchair covered if I go on holiday abroad?
Yes, your wheelchair is covered for loss or damage and third party liability worldwide for up to 21 days. Third Party Liability cover in USA & Canada is excluded.
Does the policy include third party liability?
Yes. Fish wheelchair insurance includes third party liability cover.
Will you replace my wheelchair if it is damaged beyond repair?
We offer new-for-old replacement if your wheelchair is stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Do I have to insure my wheelchair?
It is not a legal requirement to insure your wheelchair. However it is wise to pay the small amount for insurance as manual wheelchairs are expensive and can be costly to fix.
Am I covered for punctures?
If you take out the optional Puncture Care policy offered when you take out Manual Wheelchair cover you will be covered for the cost of repairing a tyre puncture up to the policy limits.
Who do I call if I need to make a claim?
If you need to make a claim, please call us on 0333 331 3840 as soon as possible.
If someone else uses my wheelchair are they covered?
Yes, the policy covers the wheelchair and whoever is using it – as long as they have your permission.
Do you provide me with the funds to hire a wheelchair whilst mine is being repaired?
Yes, if your wheelchair has been out of use for a week we will cover the cost of hiring alternative equipment.
