PA Pool was founded in 2007 by Katy Etherington, a full time wheelchair user who requires personal assistance around the clock. It was borne from Katy’s personal experience of the difficulties in finding suitable support to enable her to pursue a more independent lifestyle.
Katy used her experience to create an online service which allows people to quickly and easily identify personal assistants who can meet their specific care needs.
