New Scheme Lets Charity Members Enjoy Exclusive Insurance Discounts
A new affiliate scheme is enabling charities to offer members and supporters exclusive discounts on car insurance for disabled drivers.
The initiative offers a five percent members’ concession over and above the heavy discounts that Fish already offers to disabled drivers. With over 65,000 disabled policyholders we are one of the UK’s biggest disability insurance firms and our specialist knowledge, policies and relationships with underwriters mean we can already offer deep discounts which then offer even greater value through the exclusive 5% additional reduction.
The Spinal Injuries Association and Dystonia Society are the first charities to sign up to the newly launched scheme and be able to offer the additional discounts to members. Fish is now actively recruiting other charities and support groups and inviting them to take advantage of the affiliate sceme, pointing out that its operation is as simple as it is beneficial. Members and supporters need only quote a membership number of reference code issued by the charity to qualify.
“We’re delighted to be working in association with both the Spinal Injuries Association and Dystonia Society and to help it deliver more benefits to their members, “commented Fish’s sales and marketing director, Warren Dickson. “Members can now take advantage of an exclusive car insurance discounts, which has been specifically designed for disabled drivers. Not only does t it include benefits such as protection for wheelchairs in transit and a mobility allowance, but also that our premiums reflect the lower risk that we know disabled drivers represent. That in turn is reflected in premiums which can be significantly lower than those demanded by non-specialist insurance firms.”
